Stranded commuters back on track with new rail links [Scotsman]

PASSENGERS at a busy commuter station have won extra trains, after Virgin stepped in with alternative services to replace several due to be withdrawn by GNER.

A Penzance service pulls out of Dunbar on 8 January 2020; a new viewpoint from a new platform. The ^old^ platform line continues to be bidirectional so ScotRail services change ends there leaving the main lines clear in the meantime.
