Description

This was the Edinburgh structural steel manufacturing works of Redpath, Brown & Co.

Redpath and Brown was originally an ironmongers in Edinburgh. The company grew to have works in several cities.

Owned by Redpath, Brown & Co, subsequently Redpath, Brown Co Ltd and ultimately Redpath - Dorman Long Ltd, owned by Dorman, Long & Co Ltd.

The works closed in 1969.
