Seafield Signal Box (1963-1979)
Seafield Ground Frame (1979-1989)
Opened on the Edinburgh and Northern Railway.
This signal box opened with the junction for the new Seafield Colliery in 1963. The box was on the east side of the line. The colliery was also on the east side of the line and approached from the south.
The box was reduced to a ground frame in 1979 (opening of the Edinburgh signalling Centre) and closed in 1989 (colliery closed 1987).
