Opened on the Waterford and Limerick Railway.

Description

This is the junction between the Waterford and Limerick Railway and the Limerick and Foynes Railway.

Limerick Check platform was located here and the signal box is named Limerick Check.

In 1963 came the closure of Limerick ticket platform, the last ticket platform in the British Isles, used for arrivals from Ennis.
