Description

Flåm is the terminus of the Flamsbana which runs from Myrdal. Flam pier is at the south end of the Aurlandsfjorden.

The line is electrified and largely carries tourist traffic due to its extremely scenic route and connection with cruise ships at the pier. Circular tours taking in the Fjords and railway are available from Bergen.
