Description

This was the temporary Birmingham terminus of the Grand Junction Railway from 1837 to 1838 when the line was extended into Birmingham [Curzon Street] to meet the London and Birmingham Railway. The terminus was south west of the later Vauxhall (now Duddeston) station.

The short delay was during the building of an approach viaduct to the Curzon Street station. During the short period of this temporary terminus coaches ran from Vauxhall to Curzon Street.
