Bay Horse (1840-1960)
Opened on the Lancaster and Preston Junction Railway.
This was a two platform station with the main station building on the southbound platform.
There was a goods yard are to the south, on either side of the line, approached from the south, with a goods shed to the west and cattle bank to the east.
The goods shed still stands as does the station house on the east side of the line, north of the former station building. There are emergency crossovers here.
