Tebay: Southern Railway "Battle of Britain" class 34067 'Tangmere' gets stuck in to the climb of Shap Fell at Birk Beck Viaduct with 1Z86, Manchester Piccadilly to Carlisle on 10th February 2024, running 38 minutes late at this point.
Bruce Grove: The splendidly-restored waiting room at the 1872 Bruce Grove station, now part of London Overground served by Liverpool Street to Enfield Town or Cheshunt trains, seen here on the afternoon of Saturday, 24th February 2024. Derelict and boarded-up for decades and despite its costly renovation, a reasonably-sized group of passengers waiting for a Liverpool Street train on this day still seemed to prefer waiting outside on the platform in the rain. Shame about the bricked-up fireplace.

New Bridge Level Crossing: A North Yorkshire Moors Railway service from Pickering to Whitby, approaching New Bridge level crossing on 11 July 2012, behind BR class 9F 2-10-0 no 92214. The train is passing the private access to Stokers Cottage on the right, now used as self-catering holiday accommodation.
