Elgin East: The disused Elgin East station, opened 1852, closed 1968, on 15th June 2019.

Coppull [2nd]: In fading light, 88006 Juno comes over the summit of the climb from Wigan and begins the descent towards Euxton Junction and Preston. The train is an intermodal service from Daventry to Coatbridge on 10th January 2024.

Harpenden: 319005 arrives at Harpenden, with a service bound for the former Southern Region, on 9th December 2015.

Galashiels: My transport back to Edinburgh after walking to Galashiels from Stow. 170429 is on the 12:53 departure, 2T81, on 10th January 2024.

Crianlarich Upper: At Crianlarich Upper in 1969, a Class 27 sits in the northbound platform with an empty timber train while a Glasgow-bound service pauses in the station. The photographer did not leave notes on the photograph, but one guesses that the 27 was about to reverse its train down the spur to the former Caledonian line, so as to deposit the wagons at the Crianlarich Lower timber depot.
