Wemyss Bay Junction: One of Polmadie sheds BR Standard tanks no 80058 running downhill on the approach to Wemyss Bay Junction on 27 June 1964. The train is a Saturday service from Wemyss Bay to Glasgow Central.
Black Beck Level Crossing: Looking East South East along Town Pasture Lane in October 2021 with a very pronounced hump visible across the lane at the site of the Black Beck level crossing on the former Barnard Castle to Darlington line. Barnard Castle station was around 3/4 mile further along heading right.
Moy: In continuous working across 78 hours from Friday night until Tuesday morning, the 1884 Victorian masonry structure was demolished and replaced with 660ton twin-track concrete box structure. The construction team used a Self-Propelled Modular Transporter (SPMT) system to carry the structure from the site compound, where it was constructed offline over a 10-week period, before manoeuvring the massive 660-ton structure several hundred meters along the B1954 and sliding it to its final position.

Moy: Despite the impact of Strom Arwen, Network Rail has successfully demolished and replaced the bridge over the railway at Lynebeg, south of Inverness on the Highland Mainline between Perth and Inverness. It's part of supporting work ahead of the dualling of the A9 between Tomatin and Moy.
Wilpshire: A Northern service to Clitheroe with 156423 passes the closed station of Wilpshire in March 2012. The down platform still exists although there is no trace of the up platform on the right. The station closed in 1962 but a new station, Ramsgreave and Wilpshire opened about 400m to the south of this location in the 1990s when services were restored between Blackburn and Clitheroe.
Upminster: 357011, with a C2C service to Shoeburyness via Basildon, departing from Upminster on 17th January 2019. This station is also the eastern terminus of the District Line whose platforms are on the left with, further left, a single side platform for the Romford branch which became an isolated section of the Overground network in May 2015.
Barmouth Viaduct: Network Rail has apologised to passengers and the local community as its £30m restoration of Barmouth Viaduct is being extended after engineers found the condition of the timber structure was worse than anticipated. The work to refurbish the Grade II* listed viaduct is the biggest and most ambitious in its history with the three-year programme scheduled to replace more than 1,000 timber and metal parts of the bridge, which are rotten and decaying. The railway will now reopen on 29 December, 17 days later than planned, so engineers can safely carry out the additional repairs.

Barton and Broughton: DB 60011 leaves the loop at Barton and Broughton and heads north with an engineers train on the afternoon of 11 May 2013. This was one of a few similar trains moving into position for a possession that evening.
Buchanan Street Tunnel: During the final week of services from Glasgow's Buchanan St station, the 11.35 to Thornton emerges from the Buchanan St tunnel behind B1 61347.
Oxheys: 195118 crosses the Sharoe Brook Bridge as it heads out of Preston with a Northern service from Manchester Airport to Barrow on 15th November 2021. Several popular local paths converge at the rail bridge, which also spans the stream.
Stalybridge: TPE 185141 passes Stalybridge in July 2014 with a Manchester to Middlesborough service.
