Bay Horse: Pre and post weekend engineering movements are often interesting and this Crewe to Carlisle working, comprising five Freightliner 66s, was certainly one. 66569, 66518, 66566, 66503 and 66951 make their way through the cutting at Forton on 20th May 2021. 66503 was in the new orange livery but the others in original green and yellow.

Inverkeithing: A class 170 for Edinburgh from the Dunfermline line calls at Inverkeithing on 19 May 2021. The HST seemed to be held up for an unnecessary amount of time to let it into the station, but I'm sure they knew what they were doing.
Angel: Original 1901 entrance to Angel station, Northern Line, seen from a TfL bus on route 43 (London Bridge to Friern Barnet) on 15th May 2021. The entire station was rebuilt in 1992 which saw the closure of this entrance on City Road and a more spacious replacement opened round the corner on Islington High Street. The lifts were replaced by escalators and Angel now has the longest escalator on the Underground; previously this was at Leicester Square (Northern and Piccadilly Lines). Angel's narrow island platform was replaced at the same time but examples of this type of platform in a single tunnel can still be seen at Clapham North and Clapham Common, also on the Northern Line - in SOUTH London!
Kirkland Yard: Looking east along Kirkland Yard on 2nd June 2021. Foliage clearance has revealed that someone had already made a start on unofficially removing old track materials. Contractors will continue with that removal and new materials are likely to be stockpiled here in the near future, ready for the relaying process.
