Ravenscar: Scene on the Yorkshire Coast midway between Whitby and Scarborough, on a pleasant spring afternoon in April 2009. View is south from the end of the abandoned platform of the former Ravenscar station, looking over the farm access crossing in the general direction of Scarborough. Behind the camera lies 'the town that never was' (see image [[23796]]).
Burntisland [1st]: A series of photographs taken on a research visit in September 2020. Edinburgh and Northern Railway Burntisland station is now in use as small offices - the cast fencing is also of E&N R design. 16 September 2020.
Busby Viaduct: Fairburn tank 42276 crossing Busby Viaduct on 8 July 1964 with an evening train for East Kilbride.
North Water Bridge Viaduct: The view south on the North Water Bridge Viaduct in 1996, with the road bridge off to the right. The bridge was being converted into a footpath at the time.
Liverpool Street: New Stadler unit 745004, standing 'Not in Service' at London Liverpool Street, on the afternoon of 16th September 2020.
Harome Siding: A moderate distance north of Harome Siding there were two bridges in close proximity to each other, one a skew farm access road overbridge and the next an accommodation/ footpath rail overbridge. The skew bridge has been demolished as it was unsuitable for larger farm equipment, but the other bridge is still fully extant. View is looking north from bridge HMY8 along the embankment running towards Helmsley
Brock: Part Avanti liveried 390103 speeds north through the Lancashire countryside between Brock and Garstang on 3rd September 2020.
Euxton Balshaw Lane: The roaring monster that is A1 Pacific 60163 'Tornado' is seen passing Euxton Balshaw Lane (station out of view to the right) with 'The Ticket to Ride' railtour, returning to Darlington North Road from Liverpool on 19 September 2020. The outward journey had been made via Manchester but the return went via Blackburn and Copy Pit.
Tynehead: A northbound train on the Borders Railway, seen here on 24 February 2018 shortly after passing the site of Tynehead station. The train is three and a half miles short of its next stop at Gorebridge.
Winchcombe: 7903, one of the later batch of Hawksworth 'Modified Hall' 4-6-0s, climbs the G&WR bank at Winchcombe on 19th September 2020. This loco is presently running in BR lined green livery.
