Drumburgh: Drumburgh junction looking east to the station in 1998. The viewpoint is from the trackbed of the Port Carlisle line (which had formerly been crossed with a bridge) and the Silloth line trackbed is on the right.

Duddingston and Craigmillar: Caledonian Sleeper 73970 passes Peffermill playing fields running light from Polmadie to Craigentinny on 30th April 2019. On the skyline is the Royal Observatory on Blackford Hill, the construction of which in the 1890s was aided by a branch line off the suburban loop.
Furnace Sidings: A recently installed plaque celebrating the original ownership of what is now the Pontypool and Blaenavon Heritage Railway, followed by the LMSR and then BR. 5th May 2019.
Croston: The Branch Line Society's 'Cat and Dock' railtour passes Croston on 15 June 2017 returning to Preston having visited Ormskirk during a trip around some lines in the north-west.
Garry Viaduct: The girder bridge over the River Garry carries the southbound track of the Highland main line alongside the older stone viaduct used for the northbound track. The bridges are immediately south of long closed Struan station. 15th April 2019.
Glenesk: The 0911 ScotRail Edinburgh - Tweedbank has just crossed Glenesk Viaduct southbound on 5 May 2019. The site of Glenesk Junction is directly behind the train. On the left is the old yard that once served the former Glenesk Colliery, (most recently used for the storage of various building materials). The train is just over half a mile from its next stop at Eskbank.
Giffnock: An East Kilbride service calls at Giffnock on 4 May 2019.
