Edinchip Viaduct [C and O]

The bridge by Edinchip House is in trees in the bottom centre of this view. Edinchip House itself is near the centre of the view, just to the right and up a bit. Loch Earn is in the distance. The owner of Edinchip House, Sir Malcolm Murray-MacGregor, objected to the building of the Callander and Oban Railway. Years later his widow was to object to the building of the Lochearnhead, St Fillans and Comrie Railway which was not quite so close to the house.
