A swift trip to Uffington on 17th June 2025 to catch a few freight trains passing by - and a very pleasant surprise, 60103 'Flying Scotsman' at 1227 hours.
Westbound from the Didcot Railway Museum to the West Somerset Railway running as 5Z81. Shown on RTT as an empty coaching stock move, 60mph, 715 tons and diesel powered. I had hoped for a 37 but as you can see FS turned up with its support coach.
