Hest Bank
The Heysham Power Station flask trains don't run every week and there was a film of rust on the Hest Bank chord before this train from Sellafield took the route on 30th May 2025. 68005 was on the rear of 68009 and two flasks but would take the lead after reversal at Morecambe. This view from the footbridge looking down to the site of the station, closed in 1969 but often the subject of local enquiries about re-opening.
