Lydford [LSW]
We are looking at the site of the once extensive Lydford station, not a trace which remains, or the former road access to the station. It has gone back to nature. This is the former main line from Plymouth to Waterloo via Exeter. The section from Bere Alston to Meldon quarry near Okehampton closed completely in May 1968 and some of the route is now a cycle path.
