Eastleigh
A derailment at St. Denys near Southampton and a points failure between Reading and Basingstoke all combined to slow things down at Eastleigh on 24th June 2025. A great many freights 'running as required' made for a very quiet day but Colas Rail 70816 was moving about the east yard sidings, seen passing one of the Class 153 units converted for network Rail measurement duties.
