In this view the site of Balquhidder [2nd] station is centre right. Static caravans can be seen there. This is the station most people will think of when thinking of Balquhidder station. The first Balquhidder station (known as Lochearnhead for most of its existence) was located where the blurred white house can be seen. The Callander and Oban Railway ran from distant right through the second station, then the first station and off the bottom centre of the view (just to the left of the dirt road). Both stations had the same goods yard, this was the area bottom left with caravan pitches. The Lochearnhead, St Fillans and Comrie Railway came in from the bottom left, alongside the goods yard and a locomotive shed. The house blurred for privacy is Pickershill House.
