Alongside the A90 road to Boddam and Peterhead, these bridge abutments supported a short quarry tramway that appears to have been used to tip spoil into the sea at this point. The single track Boddam branch passed underneath and the abutments are similar to many other survivors at various points on the Boddam branch. The entrance to the quarry is behind the camera so this tramway was very short in length.
