Raynes Park
After passing under the quadrupled main line tracks to avoid conflicting movements, Class 455 no.5732 from Dorking or Chessington South to Waterloo, is now rising into the north side of the up island platform at Raynes Park, at 13.08 (four minutes late) on a beautifully bright and sunny spring Saturday lunchtime, 5th April 2025. After spending some time here in the hope of photoing some new 701 units, without success, I gave up and took this standing room only train one stop back to Wimbledon and then the District Line to Putney Bridge to a cafe I know there, opposite the station.
