The old station at Dunham Massey, which closed in October 1962, looking east towards Stockport on 15th August 2024. The station building, which was combined with the station house, has survived and is currently for sale but the platforms are long gone. The next station to the east was Broadheath but no trace of that remains. Long distance freight continued to pass through here until 1985 and the trackbed was later converted into part of the Trans-Pennine Trail.
