Woodgrange Park
Woodgrange Park, looking towards Gospel Oak, on 4th May 2024. The spur to the ex-GER main line at Forest Gate junction can be seen curving to the right; this was not normally used for passenger workings except when C2C trains were diverted at weekends to Liverpool Street when Fenchurch Street was closed. However, since 2015 a timetabled service at weekends only sees C2C trains to and from Shoeburyness serving both Fenchurch Street and Liverpool Street, the latter calling at Stratford, giving a direct service, albeit irregular, between there and Barking, not calling at Woodgrange Park. The spur, however, is still used regularly by freight trains.
