Liskeard

60039 has the St Blazey - Cliffe Vale freight at Bolitho, east of Liskeard, on 5th April 2004. Class 60s had a short reign working these trains but were common in the far west until Class 66s took over. Note the fuel tanks on the rear from Long Rock and St Blazey depots returning to Fawley. They would be detached en-route. All fuel tanker traffic was lost to road haulage some time ago and Fawley does not send out any freight by rail. Yet more decline of freight from the south west.
