Looking south west over Hardengreen Roundabout on 10 May 2013. The roundabout, a bi-product of a major re-routing of the A7 trank road, was accommodated by removing a section of the embankment that once carried the Waverley Route between Eskbank and Newtongrange. This gap was subequently spanned by Hardengreen Viaduct, which now carries the Borders Railway. For the same view 3 years later see image 54974.
