Battersby
Stanier Black 5 no. 44871 (1945) at Battersby with the Railway Touring Company's excursion to Whitby, at 11.17 on Wednesday, 20th March 2024. The train reversed here to continue to Whitby and was then in the hands of 47815 with 44871 at the rear to bring the train back to Battersby after a 90 minutes leg stretch break in Whitby.
