Hungarian Railway Museum

MAV 402 Klima-Rendszeru Hoeke snow plough, another interesting exhibit at the Hungarian Railway Museum in Budapest. It was built in 1941 by Henschel & Sohn, Kassel and remained in service until 1980. The snowplough, built from parts of a withdrawn steam locomotive, weighed 33 tons in working order and has two independently controlled blades.
