Meadowside Quay
SS 'American Scientist' at Meadowside in the early 1960s. She was built during World War II as a naval transport in the US Navy but was sold to United States Lines in 1947. She and her sister ships were regular visitors to the Clyde in the 1950s and 60s, often berthed at Yorkhill.
