Esk Valley Junction
Esk Valley Junction signal box in October 1964. One of my first railway photographs taken on aged Box Brownie camera. The track behind the box was the Polton branch which had closed to goods traffic a few months previously in May 1964 and in front was what by that time was the branch to Penicuik, which continued in use for freight until March 1967.
