Boddam

This interesting and much modified former rail vehicle is mounted alongside a street in Boddam, quite close to the bridge to the Buchan Ness lighthouse. At the other end full width double doors have been fitted. Boddam station itself was sited on the then edge of the town but closed to passengers in 1932. The last freight left in 1945 and the site is now built over.
