Wakefield Westgate

Gresley West Highland Line K4 Class 2-6-0 3442 (BR 61994) 'The Great Marquess' runs south light engine through Wakefield Westgate in April 1967 after working the Epsom Railway Society 'The Mercian' special on the Stockport to Leeds section, via Manchester, Bolton, Blackburn, Colne and Skipton, with double heading by a Black 5 between Bolton and Blackburn. AL6 electric loco E3101 worked from Euston to Stockport and 'Flying Scotsman' from Leeds to Kings Cross. The change over from 3442 to 4472 was due to be at Westgate station but was done at Leeds for some reason, per Six Bells Junction.
