The current station which serves Biarritz is sited a few miles from the centre of the town but until closure there was a central station in what is a popular holiday resort. It was named Gare du Midi and although it had been electrified as early as 1924 train services ended in September 1980 and when I visited it in July 1983 it was rather the worse for wear. As far as I know it was brought back to life as a performance venue and tourist office in the early 1990s.
