Dover Priory

Dover Priory station, looking south, during a brief signal only stop by the Railway Touring Company's 'The Armistice Kentish Belle' railtour, behind LMS Jubilee no. 45596 'Bahamas', at 14.58 on Saturday, 11th November 2023. This station was originally opened by the LCDR as Dover Town on 22nd July 1861 and renamed Dover Priory two years later. It was rebuilt by the Southern Railway and unveiled on 8th May 1932.
