Coltbridge Junction

The railway remains at Coltbridge Junction in the early 1970s. Behind me is the viaduct which crossed the E&G west of Haymarket station and carried the railway for Leith North. The connection to the left headed to Dalry Middle Junction and on to Prices Street and straight ahead the line joined what is now the Duff Street connection (just beyond the remains of the viaduct) at Granton Junction. The high level line was from Haymarket West to Dalry Middle and is now part of the Western Approach Road.
