Eastleigh Shed
15 June 1963 and Q1 0-6-0 No 33009 is sneaking out of Eastleigh shed. My first encounter with a Q1 (or 'Charlie', as they were affectionately known) was in the summer of 1950, when No C20 made a jaw-dropping appearance on a freight train at Fareham station.
