Furze Platt
Furze Platt station in 1976 looking towards Maidenhead. The station is sited in the outskirts of Maidenhead on the line to Bourne End and Marlow and when opened on 5th July 1937 was called Furze Platt Halt. As from 5th May 1969 'Halt' was dropped from the name. The level crossing was, if I remember correctly, called Maidenhead North Town Crossing.
