Dumgoyne

Killean [1st] was the terminus of the 1866 Blane Valley Railway. It was extended to Aberfoyle in 1882 by the Strathendrick and Aberfoyle Railway and the station was renamed Dumgoyne. This view looks northwards beyond the one time terminus towards Killearn. Ben Lomond is on the left. The former station site is now the Beech Tree Inn, a popular spot for walkers to pause on the West Highland Way. Some blurring added for privacy.
