Daisyfield Junction
70806 heads east at Daisyfield Junction with empty bitumen tanks from Preston Dock to Haverton Hill on 13th September 2023. The train is passing Blackburn TA Centre, built on the site of a railway goods yard and standing in the 'V' of this line and that to Clitheroe. The bitumen tanks usually run from Lindsey Refinery but a shortage of product this year has led to short formations and some trains being switched to run from Haverton Hill.
