Kings Cross

East side wall of Kings Cross station, designed by Lewis Cubitt for the Great Northern Railway and opened in 1852, seen here from the front upstairs windows of a HV type bus on route 91 to Crouch End, heading north up York Way before turning east into Wharfedale Road (both part of the King's Cross one-way system) and then continuing north up Caledonian Road, on the afternoon of Wednesday, 30th August 2023. The bus in this view is a so-called 'New Routemaster', nothing like the fine old traditional Routemasters of old, setting out from the terminus of route 259 to Edmonton Green in north London.
