Airdrie

Airdrie, in a photograph thought to have been taken in 1968. One imagines that a Swindon DMU would not have been a regular sight there, but the circumstances were not recorded by the photographer. Perhaps a diversion from the normal route to Edinburgh from Queen Street High Level. Idle speculation might even suggest the 1968 Castlecary accident as the cause.
