Accrington Brick and Tile Works

The mineral line to the Accrington Brick and Tile Works was built towards the end of the 19th Century, but Accrington Cricket Club had been established on their ground since 1877 and so the line made a noticeable curve around the back of the pavilion (made of local bricks of course). The works closed in the late 1960s and this view looks back towards the exchange sidings on what has become a well used local path.
