Huncoat Brick Sidings
156404, on a Preston to Colne stopping service, passes the site of Huncoat Brick Sidings and signal box on 22nd August 2023. The sidings, directly opposite Accrington Cemetery, closed around 1970. Passengers on the Cravens DMU predecessors to these Sprinters would have seen an open railway yard and a mineral line curving away behind Accrington Cricket Club to serve two brick works.
