Blairgowrie

By 1996 very few railway buildings remained in Blairgowrie. The locomotive shed was better known but there was also this, a small red sandstone building on Terminus Street seen here on the left. It dated from the opening and had stood by the entry into the goods yard, which had been to its left (beyond that had been the goods shed and passenger station). The taller building (once a sawmill?) in the centre of this view was not on railway land but was rail served. The breezeblock wall has survived, but nothing else except the road. View looks SSE.
