Bedlington

Bedlington station looking towards Newcastle on 9th April 1969. A short train of oil tanks headed by a 37 with brake tender has just passed through, possibly heading to Cambois depot. The station closed on 02/11/1964 but is due to reopen at some time during Summer 2024 when passenger services commence on the Nothumbrian Line between Newcastle and Ashington..
