Bay Horse
'Stand-in Thunderbird'. 66717 'Good Old Boy' was on a Longtown to Southampton Docks MOD train on 26th June 2023 when there was an incident at Oxenholme, which blocked the WCML in both directions for several hours. 66717 left its train in Grayrigg Up Loop and ran down to Oxenholme from where it pulled the 4M27 Mossend to Daventry intermodal and 68016 back through the Lune Gorge to Tebay Loop to await another train engine. 88005 ran light from Crewe to rescue 4M27 and 66717 returned to Grayrigg to rejoin its train and is pictured in the cutting at Forton having resumed its journey running six hours late.
