Coupar Angus Level Crossing

This main road was the railway through Coupar Angus. The Blairgowrie Branch was on the left and Strathmore Main Line to the right, the two running parallel to the station (in the distance). Queen Street/High Street closed the railway on the level here at 90 degrees to the main road. The white building is the closed Strathmore Hotel. The original signal box here was on the left, on this side of the level crossing, and its 1939 replacement was on the right.
