Moorswater Viaduct

1068 'Western Reliance' approaching Moorswater Viaduct, Liskeard, with the up milk in June 1976. This was 6A21, the 1640 St. Erth to Acton, and ran seven days a week conveying milk to London and the Home Counties. The tanks were glass lined but the outsides pretty dirty with constant use. Milk traffice from Cornwall by rail all ended in 1980 when the Milk Marketing Board changed its distribution network.
