Stamford Tunnel
Stamford Tunnel, presumably a 'cut and cover' construction, takes the railway almost directly under the B1443 road to the east of the station and town. This view, from the Water St bridge, shows 158856 emerging at the eastern portal on a Nottingham to Norwich service on 19th June 2023.
