Summerseat Viaduct
Two BR Sulzer Type 2s, in charge of an ELR diesel gala service, cross the River Irwell at Summerseat heading for Bury on 29th June 2023. Lead loco is 25279, followed by the earlier built and slightly less powerful Class 24, D5054. This view shows the much cleaner lines of the later Class 25s compared to the early locos.
