Morecambe
Looking back towards the present minimalist Morecambe station from beyond the stop block at the end of the lengthy headshunt that extends beyond platform 2 to also provide a run round facility for long loco hauled workings to the station, and flask trains before they were top and tailed. Whilst the ticket office is a modern building I got the view that a new ticket office would be better sited to left of view, alongside the access road to Morrisons, and the platform extended to suit. This would tidy up the run down area, and could make use of the car park for the station.
